Hi.  I’m Suzonne Underwood, author of Growing With Grace.  Welcome to my blog!

Growing With Grace touches upon an issue that is near and dear to my heart—keeping my children, and children everywhere, safe and free from the dangers and risks today’s society poses.  Too often, teenagers are persuaded and encouraged to participate in underage drinking or drug use.  We read about it in the newspapers and hear about the tragic circumstances on the nightly news.  As a mother, I found the statistics and increasing frequency of preventable injuries and deaths among adolescents and teens alarming.  I knew I had to do something to keep my children safe and help them know that it is okay not to follow the examples of others and encourage them to be a leader and role model among peer groups.

It is also my sincere hope that as an online community, teens and parents, as well as school and church officials, can use this forum to share thoughts, ideas, and news that will help in our quest to keep our children safe, whether it is in their social or online activities.  Education can be a phenomenal tool towards change, so I hope we can educate each other and teenagers everywhere and make their world a kinder, more innocent place.
